While he doesn't have much of anything in the Nexus, Doul has done his best to brush up, clean up, and generally look as neat as possible for this meeting. It's not something he's thrilled about, but a little gladiator work has allowed him to find cheap room and board as well as pay for a shave and haircut.

The castle itself doesn't surprise him, but he keeps a careful eye on the way in, just to make sure he can find his way back out.
