[log] then i see you standing there wanting more from me
[20:57] * Candice is HERE. Where is here?
[20:59] * Martel has brought her HERE--to Arum, actually, specifically an out of the way and evidently left-long-unattended castle in the north. "It doesn't look like much," he says, apologetically, which is...not entirely true.
[21:00] Candice: "It's a /castle/," she tells him, awed all the same, "You realize I've never seen one of these before--ever?"
[21:01] Martel: "...I hadn't." He smiles, briefly.
[21:01] Candice: "I mean, in pictures, but..." She navigates her way around some wild-looking plants to put her hand on the side of the structure, looking up at it. "It's /huge/."
[21:02] Martel: "As they go, it's relatively modest," he follows her, some amusement in his voice but he's /pleased/, more than mocking.
[21:05] Candice: "Will you keep the ivy?" She points, glancing at him over her shoulder.
[21:05] Martel: "It depends, but more than likely."
[21:07] * Candice steps back, looking the building over again. "I can't stop thinking about it aesthetically. For me this is the kind of thing you see in fairytales. Maybe on trips to the privately owned ones if you've got the money. But I guess it's easier for you to be practical?"
[21:09] Martel: "It's a little smaller than the main family estate I inherited," he says, from which she can presumably draw her own conclusions. "Aesthetically it'll be better when I've got it all sorted out. Do you want to see inside?"
[21:10] Candice: "Yes," she says, immediately and emphatically.
[21:10] * Martel laaaughs. "This way." He knows his way around, apparently.
[21:11] * Candice follows after!
[21:12] * Martel leads her in; it does look about fifty years away from being officially a /ruin/, lack of structural damage aside.
[21:12] Candice: "Overgrown inside," she comments, looking around, "But it's--I mean, it's beautiful like this, in a way, it'll be amazing when it's cleaned up." She likes wild areas.
[21:13] Martel: "It's a good place." He likes it, and it's ... not difficult to see the difference in his ease here and how he feels in the more modern settings common to the nexus.
[21:15] Candice: "Can we go upstairs?" She keeps running her fingertips over the walls as she walks, like she's testing how real the place is.
[21:17] Martel: "Of course. I've been discussing my plans with the clan-chief selling it to me--I'm permitted to be in and out a bit as I work on things. What would you like to see?"
[21:17] Candice: "What do you recommend?" She raises her eyebrows.
[21:18] * Martel thinks about it, and then heads for the stairs. "Come with me."
[21:19] * Candice goes! Hands in her pockets, because she's that type.
[21:20] * Martel leads the way! He is headed towaaards what will one day again be a library.
[21:22] * Candice will be ALL ABOUT that, man. Books <3
[21:23] * Martel opens the doors -- double doors, v. nice -- and nods towards the room. It's not a small one, either; split level, old shelves. Remnants of the books that /were/ there. Etc.
[21:24] * Candice ...whistles low, and just stands there for a while, imagining what it's like in here when it's /full/ of books.
[21:24] Martel: "It'll take some time to rebuild this, specifically, but I...have time." :]
[21:29] Candice: "You do." She turns around to smile at him a little, then fusses with her hair like she usually does. "This might be my favorite room here."
[21:33] Martel: "It's one of my personal favourites." He's pleased she likes it, that much is immediately clear without need for much divining.
[21:34] * Candice pauses, for a second, and then goes...darting up the stairs. MORE TO SEE
[21:34] * Martel laaaughs, following after her at a more sedate pace.
[21:36] * Candice leans over the balcony, after another look around. "The house I grew up in was about the size of this room." She's ....not exaggerating.
[21:40] Martel: "I spent more time at the motherhouse and various chapterhouses than my own home," he admits, freely.
[21:40] Candice: "More entertaining there?" She turns back to look at him, still leaning.
[21:41] Martel: "That, too," he says, wryly. "It was mainly necessity."
[21:42] * Candice hoists herself up to /sit/ on the edge of the balcony, because she's kind of secretly crazy. "Training?"
[21:42] Martel: "And later responsibilities to the order."
[21:44] * Candice leans back to peer out the window. Stop tempting fate, woman. "Do you think you missed out?"
[21:44] * Martel puts his hand on her knee--it's not the same as ... previous touching, he's anchoring her lest she fall off that. "On?"
[21:44] * Martel isn't aware how telling it is that he has to ask what she means.
[21:46] * Candice pretends not to notice, anyway. "Family. Home things."
[21:46] Martel: "I got those." But not at home.
[21:52] * Candice looks at him, and then nods. "Fair enough."
[21:55] Martel: "The church is, after all, one family under God. In an order, it's a little more personally immediate."
[21:58] Candice: "That--makes sense. Yes. Ours, the Catholic one, isn't so together, unfortunately. My family wasn't--do you know about imprinting?"
[21:59] Martel: "We've had separations from the church as she is in Chyrellos," he allows, and then raises his eyebrow. "'Imprinting'?"
[22:01] Candice: "Ducks do it. When baby geese, baby ducks are born, the first person they see, they imprint on. So sometimes you'll get instances of baby geese whose mother died thinking a dog or a human is their mother. Humans do it, too, it's just...slower."
[22:02] Martel: "--ah. Yes." He nods.
[22:03] Candice: "In adoption cases sometimes, the child's already imprinted. So it doesn't matter what the new parents do, the kid is just...somebody else's child. Living in their house." She glances over at the window again. "That was a pretty awful explanation."
[22:05] Martel: "It was a good explanation, in and of itself." He's mild. "The connection is all in implications. I don't wish to assume."
[22:06] Candice: "You'll probably assume correctly. My adoptive parents had five children, only four of them theirs. Those four were all different races, different shades of the rainbow." She hesitates. "It was something of a collection. They wanted to be sure we would be raised in the correct faith."
[22:07] Candice: only one of them theirs*
[22:09] * Candice also says 'rainbow' dry enough fill the ENTIRE LIBRARY with sand.
[22:11] * Martel ... does not sigh, but one probably gets the impression. "Ah."
[22:12] * Candice shrugs. "They're good people. But the thing you have with Sephrenia--" Maybe she's crossing a line here. "You know how amazing that is? And I don't even know that much about it."
[22:13] Martel: "'Thing'?" ...yes step carefully, but Martel's not sure what she /means/, because he's never thought of it in these terms.
[22:14] Candice: "You're family." She's not going to say 'mother,' that seems awkward. "I don't mean to be--forward about it, but it was obvious when I met her. I was just glad. That's all." Why, she wonders, does she always end up saying these things around him? It's not like he ever /asks/ her to!
[22:16] * Martel pauses, and nods. "She's been mother to generations of Pandion knights." Apparently not awkward for him--but then, they /call/ her 'little mother'. "She was--" He touches his chest, lightly, that habit whenever this comes up. "She was with me when I died."
[22:16] Martel: ...because she was there to stop what he was trying to complete, but uh.
[22:18] * Candice 's eyeline is drawn to where the scar is, and she bites her lip, sympathetic. She just nods, again.
[22:20] * Martel ... chuckles, low, recalling, but it seems like an unnecessary addition to the conversation so he doesn't comment on it. "Families are strange things."
[22:22] Candice: "But important." She's certain of this.
[22:23] Martel: "Oh, yes. My family was all my life." Even the horrible parts--it's just that he was trying to kill them. >_>
[22:24] Candice: The psychoanalyzing she could do with that, Martel... "And you've invited some of them here?" Sephrenia, at least, she knows.
[22:25] Martel: "Sephrenia, and my brother by extension." ...sort...of.
[22:26] Candice: "Should be interesting." She pauses. "You know what, though?" Suddenly her smile has a faintly impish note to it.
[22:26] Martel: "Hm?"
[22:28] Candice: "If I ever get tired of sleeping on the road, once this place is cleaned up, I can always pinpoint in here and steal a chair for the evening," she teases, "It's so big you'd never even know I was here." She's CLEARLY kidding, FYI.
[22:28] * Martel gives her a dry look. "I'm picking out a suite for Maria to use as she will. No doubt you could do the same." ...HE'S NOT, although he...clearly picked up on the fact she was.
[22:30] * Candice looks totally startled by that. "Are you kidding?"
[22:31] Martel: "If you'd be more comfortable if I were, certainly." A beat. "You're not wrong about the room I have here."
[22:33] Candice: "It's just--well, very generous of you. Like I've said, I'm not used to that. But...if you really wouldn't mind?" Because seriously, the sleeping on the ground, it has got to stop.
[22:33] Martel: "I'd prefer you spent less time sleeping outdoors on the ground."
[22:36] Candice: "I can't disagree with that. Thank you, then." She slides down from the balcony, a little closer than she ought to, so she gives him his space quickly after. "Where to next?"
[22:39] * Martel ... pretends not to have noticed that and heads down the stairs. "I'll show you where I'll be setting up my work rooms."
[22:40] Candice: "All right." She looks interested about that! Work rooms could mean a lot of things.
[22:42] * Martel is using the phrase as a catch-all for his training spaces and where he can work on his magic in privacy and relative safety. He leads her deeper into the castle; she may notice evidence already of his plans for sectioning off spaces.
[22:46] * Candice is noticing that, yes; she doesn't bother hiding that she's observing, either. He might expect her to be observant enough, after all.
[22:49] Martel: "I don't intend to do a great deal of fighting in the future," he says, finally, opening another set of doors and directing her in. "But I do intend to keep my hand in."
[22:54] Candice: "You'll definitely have the space--if I haven't commented on that enough already. Anyway, it's a good idea to keep in condition...for obvious reasons, but for fun, too."
[22:57] Martel: "Oh, yes. And I may be able to work something out with the local clan-chief, regarding the training of his younger men."
[22:59] Candice: "/That/ could be a good deal. You've got along with them well so far?"
[23:00] Martel: "So far, yes. They're an interesting people."
[23:02] Candice: "Cultural mercenaries, you said."
[23:02] Martel: "Yes--something like that, at least."
[23:03] * Candice pokes around the room a little. "That doesn't bother you?"
[23:04] * Candice mostly means for tactical reasons.
[23:04] Martel: "That's a good reason to maintain friendly contact and generally keep my nose out of everyone else's affairs."
[23:06] Candice: "True. And teaching their younger generation might be some kind of insurance?" If small. Mercenaries.
[23:06] Martel: "As much as I can get here."
[23:08] Candice: "Yeah." She glances at him, and then tucks her hair behind one ear. "...so. Towers. We can go to the top of one?" :D?
[23:08] Martel: "...if you like," he laughs. "Come along then."
[23:10] * Candice goes along, then! "There are places in the States--skyscrapers--where people actually pay to go to the top floor."
[23:10] Martel: "Truly? I can see why."
[23:13] Candice: "I understand to a certain extent. Twenty-five dollars to wait in line for two hours isn't my thing, though." This typist has done that before. NEVER AGAIN.
[23:16] Martel: "It sounds less than thrilling to me." He directs her through a doorway to some stairs.
[06:43] * Candice goes on up! She will occasionally take two steps at a time, 'cause.
[06:43] * Martel follows her up, although he does jaunt on ahead because there's a locked door at the top. ...which he's just going to force, because a) he can and b) he doesn't have the keys.
[06:45] * Candice ...laughs a little. "Good job." (Dude is strong o_o Good lord.)
[06:45] Martel: "Thank you." There is no modesty here. He pushes it further open and holds it there for her to go past him.
[06:48] * Candice goes! Are those big empty tower-windows in here, because if so, she is gonna sit in one. What is with this girl and ledges.
[06:48] Martel: "If you fall to your death, I'm going to be extremely vexed with you." ...haha.
[06:49] Candice: "Probably," she says, agreeably, "So I won't fall. Because I'd hate to have you vexed with me." Yes. Serious business face there.
[06:49] Martel: "I assure you it'd be unpleasant." ...death or his irritation? (Surely both.)
[06:50] Candice: "I believe you! Is that your way of asking me to get off here?" Instead, FYI, she balances her hands on either side of the window and glances over her shoulder.
[06:51] Martel: "That's my way of saying if you fall it's own your own fool head, and I'll be vexed."
[06:51] Martel: *on
[06:52] * Candice just shakes her head at him. "I've got good balance. I used to go stand on the ledges over the freeway when I was a kid." ... o_o Things Candice casually didn't mention in high school: that.
[06:53] Martel: "That means nothing to me, you realize. Though I assume it was a foolishly dangerous thing to do." He's needling her, now, to distract himself from the fact he's genuinely concerned for her safety and actually admitted to it.
[06:55] Candice: "It was. All my friends were busy having premarital sex and drinking and getting into fights," she remembers, sliding down to her feet again, "I had to catch up in terms of risky behavior somehow!"
[06:56] Martel: "The folly of youth," he says, droll.
[06:58] Candice: "Like you never did anything like that." She steps closer, eyebrows raised.
[06:59] Martel: "Premarital sex, drinking and getting into fights? You're right. I never."
[06:59] * Candice laughs and sort of pushes at him a little, playful. "Uh-huh."
[07:00] Martel: "What a lack of trust in me."
[07:01] Candice: "I recognize your 'I'm Being Very Wry For The Six Hundredth Time Today' voice."
[07:02] Martel: "You're labeling my voices? That's very domestic of us." He says this as he examines the tower for potential uses.
[07:04] * Candice has just a split-second pause, and then resumes looking out the window--without perching on the edge, this time! "I'll make a pie chart for the most frequently used ones."
[07:04] Martel: "I'll have to teach you to write in Elenic so you can show me what on earth you're talking about."
[07:05] * Candice turns around. "You should, actually." :D? "I'd teach you to write in English in return, if you like."
[07:06] Martel: "That'd be very good of you."
[07:10] Candice: "Spanish too, if necessary...though not everyone in my world sees the value of that one." She's annoyed by that.
[07:10] Martel: "I'd be interested." It's both easier than wading into foreign world racial politics, and true.
[07:11] Candice: "Can always trust you to want to learn, can't I?" She likes that quality of his. Because cross-dimensional nerds are awesome.
[07:13] Martel: "A reliably willing and eager student." He half-smiles, over his shoulder. "I have to stay occupied somehow. Or I'm sure Aphrael will find kittens for me to rescue out of trees."
[07:15] Candice: "...I really enjoy that visual, can she still have you do that?" ... :D?
[07:15] Martel: "I'm not making the suggestion."
[07:20] Candice: "I'm sure she can come up with it organically." Really.
[07:23] Martel: "Oh, quite possibly."
[07:25] Candice: "In the meantime...show me something else? If I'm going to be staying here--domestically--" ...yep. "I should know my way around, right?"
[07:27] * Martel does have a moment's pause. Nicely done, Candice. "Absolutely. What sort of things do you think would be /most relevant/?"
[07:28] Candice: "...kitchens?" She shrugs. "Or--bathing, where are the baths here?"
[07:28] Martel: "That depends. Several of the larger suites have their own bath."
[07:29] Candice: "Well--I will go wherever you want to put me, it's your hospitality."
[07:30] Martel: "So it is," he murmurs, and leads the way back down the stairs.
[07:31] * Candice follows after, as you might expect.
[07:31] * Martel sort of...meanders, for a while, he may or may not have a specific route in mind.
[07:34] * Candice will happily look around in the meanwhile. "What are you going to do for lighting out here? Torches?" She has nfi, okay.
[07:35] Martel: "And candles. Things of that nature. I know a few lighting spells, but on a large scale that's impractical."
[07:36] Candice: "I bet so. And it's not haunted." This is apparently of great import.
[07:36] Martel: "Is it not? Excellent."
[07:37] Candice: "I wasn't sure at first--it's so big, I couldn't get a feel. But now that I've been through most of it, I'm sure."
[07:38] Martel: "Very good to know." He means it. The last thing he needs is fucking /ghosts/.
[07:40] Candice: "If there were they'd all be busily making their way over to try to say hello to me, anyway." Seriously.
[07:40] * Martel inclines his head at that and leads her down another hallway; it shows some sign of having already been worked on a bit, in terms of cleanliness.
[07:44] * Candice is noticing that! "Where will you sleep?"
[07:45] Martel: "In a bed, no doubt. This way."
[07:47] * Candice bumps him with her arm. "Funny. You haven't figured out a room yet?"
[07:47] Martel: "I have."
[07:49] Candice: "But you don't want to tell me where? Are you worried I'll come bother you in the middle of the night or something?" ...PROBABLY NOT. She glances away after she's said it.
[07:51] Martel: "I was wondering if you were going to find a reason for wanting to know where I'll sleep or if we're going to continue failing to match what we say to what we do." Martel always finds the most interesting ways of putting things, and the best voices for doing so.
[07:52] * Candice stops in the middle of the hall, a touch embarrassed. "Um..."
[07:52] * Martel pivots neatly to face her, eyebrow raised mildly.
[07:54] Candice: "Yeah, so. Those boundaries we discussed." She looks up at him. "I'm apparently having some difficulty sticking to mine, but I don't want to--push yours, so I don't want to do anything directly, annnd...then you say things about domesticity and--well."
[07:58] Martel: "I noticed," he says, dryly, then shrugs, an eloquent roll of his shoulders. "'Directly'?"
[07:58] * Martel ... will address other things in a second. Clarify first :|
[08:00] Candice: "The way we were the other night?" With the touching? Yes. That.
[08:01] * Martel ... sort of smiles, the kind that's hard to see unless you're really looking for it. "That's an interesting definition of direct." ...haha. After a moment he spreads his hands. "You are aware you're holding more or less all of the cards?"
[08:02] Candice: "...no. I was not aware. Explain that, please?" She stares up at him, looking a little bit confused.
[08:04] * Martel is less surprised by that than he could've been. (Since he's MET HER.) "I assumed you weren't--available. Interested. And you said as much plainly."
[08:06] Candice: "I'm /interested/, do you think I do this often? ...ever?" Come on, dude. Of course, there /are/ certain things she doesn't talk about so people assume, you know, given her age, she's more experienced than she is. Because most people don't dedicate themselves to weirdo faiths at 23! "I got the impression you didn't want that. Or didn't want to want that."
[08:08] Martel: "I think you're extremely confusing," he says, honestly. That may have been the most useful thing he's said all-no. "And I'm tired of wanting things I can't have."
[08:11] Candice: "Well. You're not wrong." WELL HE'S NOT. She sighs and steps closer to him. Close enough she can rest her hands on his chest, actually, like she's balancing herself. "I've slept with two people in my entire life; the latter is only under /possession/ so I don't remember it. I have no idea what I'm doing. If you--want, you just--you have to go slow."
[08:14] * Martel is ... thrown. In three words this typist wins 'understatement of the year'. That's clearly what gets this abrupt and possibly unnecessary honesty out of him: "I'm a lot more knowledgeable about what I assume is the part we should take slowly. If we're being honest."
[08:15] Candice: "That I believe." She's quiet for a second, kiiind of leaning on him.
[08:18] * Martel cups his hands underneath her elbows (that says ELBOWS, you ho) and after a moment's silent contemplation contributes, quietly, "Second door on the right. This hallway."
[08:19] * Candice turns her head to look, and then glances up at him. "Are you going to show me?"
[08:21] Martel: "It's not presently much to look at."
[08:22] Candice: "Some other time, then," she allows, straightening up just slightly, "Martel?"
[08:22] Martel: "Mmm?"
[08:23] * Candice arches up onto her tiptoes and kisses him, and then slides down to start walking again. "You're kind of confusing your own self. Just so you know."
[08:24] * Martel is still holding her elbows, sry2say, come back here. "I was actually aware." And now that you've got his attention and /more importantly/ Given Him Tacit Permission, this kissing thing is going to be investigated again. ...Just for a second. >_>
[08:26] * Candice ...cannot protest this at all. She presses against him, arched up onto her toes again, because the man is goddamn tall, okay.
[08:26] * Martel drops his hands to her waist to lift her up a little, for ... ease of make outs. And then he sets her delicately back on her feet. "Now. I believe you wanted to see suites."
[08:27] Candice: "Lead the way," she murmurs. Meanwhile she's just going to...unfluster, as they walk. Enjoy that, Martel.
[08:30] * Martel really truly does. (She can probably tell, he's not subtle.)
[08:33] * Candice is going to walk much closer to him than she did before, FYI.
[08:34] * Martel has approximately negative objection to that. Where he's taking her is only a short walk, at any rate, around the corner and down another hall to stop in front of a door.
[08:35] * Candice reaches out to open the door. "Here?"
[08:36] Martel: "Here." It's not locked, and it's had the minimum of cleaning up done to get a look at the room's space and what it'll need. It's...probably an attached sitting room of some kind, by the doors leading off it.
[08:39] * Candice looks around, and then opens the sitting room doors. "Everything in this place is ridiculously huge."
[08:39] Martel: "/Castle/," he reminds her.
[08:42] Candice: "Yes, yes, castle, I know," she says, batting at his hands lightly, "I do love it, though. Imagining what it'll be is even better."
[08:44] Martel: "It's going to be very, very good. It's--not quite livable, yet, but once money has officially changed hands I'll make do." Nexus makes 'making do' a lot more feasible, even aside from his own practice at it.
[08:46] * Candice regards him sidelong. "Safer than sleeping on the ground?" She's teasing him now.
[08:46] Martel: "/Much/," he says, ignoring that. B|
[08:48] * Candice has apparently decided the room is to her liking. "Anything else I should see? Do?"
[08:49] Martel: "I think that covers as much as is particularly interesting right now."
[08:54] Candice: "/Everything/, really." She draws closer, skeptical.
[08:58] Martel: "Enough for now. Unless you've got an objection?"
[08:59] Candice: "None off the top of my head. So what now?"
[09:09] Martel: "I'll show you my suite and then we'll go. Yes?"
[09:10] Candice: "Yes." Now: to see if they get /out/ of his suite--Candice, you cannot kill your typist.
[09:11] * Martel leads her back around the hallways a door they'd previously walked past. It's significantly cleaner, bare of furniture. There are chalk marks for where things will be, eventually.
[09:12] * Candice notes the chalkmarks. "What are each of these for?"
[09:12] Martel: "Wardrobe, chests--bed, over there. That sort of thing." There's a fire place. Of /course/ there's a fire place.
[09:14] Candice: "Lot of space for a bed, what are you getting, two in one?" She raises her eyebrows at him. (Of course.)
[09:14] Martel: "I have a lot of space, I might as well use it." HAHA that was not an answer.
[09:16] * Candice steals lines from narrative. "That was not an answer, Martel." She's totally not smiling. Shh.
[09:16] Martel: "Yes. It's a large piece of furniture. Hush."
[09:17] Candice: "Make me," she responds, immediately, directly also stealing a page from Enfys's book.
[09:18] * Martel catches her around the waist without changing his expression and kisses her.
[09:19] * Candice ...makes a mental note to do that more often. She loops her arms around him and keeps that up a little. Things she did not expect to end up doing today: THIS.
[09:23] * Martel was...not really planning on it either, although he's clearly an enthusiastic participant. To a degree. Slow she asked for, restraint she gets.
[09:23] * Candice is ....not being so restrained. /Accidental/ lower lip biting, hello! "Sorry," she murmurs, afterward. ...this girl, I just don't know.
[09:30] Martel: "That," he mutters against the corner of her mouth, "you don't have to apologize for."
[09:31] Candice: "...really." She is INTRIGUED by this, sir.
[09:32] Martel: "Truly." He demonstrates on her jaw.
[09:34] * Candice makes an impressively breathy tiny sound in response, startled. "...oh." She clutches at him a little. "That's a, ah, first."
[09:36] * Martel continues down her throat for the sake of thoroughness. (Yes, /that's/ why.) "Of many. I'm sure."
[09:38] * Candice ...sort of twists in place, gasping at one point. "I--oh. Yes?" Is that the right answer? This is entirely unfair of you, Martel, she was not prepared for this.
[09:38] Martel: "Yes." And baaack up and she can't gasp if he's kissing her, right? (No.)
[09:40] * Candice tries this biting thing out again, more intentionally this time, after a minute. And then she pulls away juuust slightly, breathless. "...hello."
[09:44] Martel: "Hello." He is inordinately pleased with himself.
[09:47] Candice: "You are /ruthless/," she tells him, but she means it as a compliment, somehow. "I'm in over my head, aren't I?"
[09:47] Martel: "Little queen, you have not begun to see 'ruthless'."
[09:49] Candice: "Neither have you." She smiles at him. (Although, yeah, that's one he's going to win, no matter how much faux-bravado she throws at him.)
[09:50] Martel: "Then I look forward to it, as should you." He nudges her towards the door.
[09:51] * Candice goes back out into the hallway!
[09:52] Martel: "Sufficiently explored my new home, ready to go?"
[09:54] Candice: "For the time being, yes. Back to the Nexus?"
[09:54] * Martel rethinks leaving himself open to suggestions. "Yes."
[09:55] * Candice heads back toward the outside, still admiring the castle interior as she goes. That might not stop for a good while.
[09:55] * Martel encourages it.
[09:57] Candice: Once they're outside, she'll pinpoint them back to the Nexus. This requires keeping her hand in his, for some reason. Bye, castle!
